About the Event
In collaboration with our Partner, The Vendome Prize at the Verbier Festival, GetClassical presents an evening centered on the piano. Ahead of his Steinway recording debut, 2019 Vendome Prize winner, Latvian pianist Daumants Liepins will perform works by Brahms and Schumann. After a short intermission - and a full refreshment buffet - the artist will come back for an on-stage interview and following roundtable discussion, led by Zsolt Bognar ( pianist and host of the popular webcast Living the classical life ) and will also feature Sean Hickey, ( compsoer and Senior Vice President, Naxos USA) Joe Patrych, ( sound engeneer ) Pavlina Dokovska, ( Chair of Piano Department Mannes School of Music ) and Daumant's mentor, Julia Mustonen-Dahlquist ( Chair of Piano Department Ingesund College of Music at Carlstadt Univeristy in Sweden.)
