An evening of classical music, art and a special short-film featuring composition by Michael Brown, performed by tbe Canellakis/Brown duo, also known for their humorous, screened “Conversations with Nick Canellakis,” which features prominent classical musicians inside and outside the practice room on YouTube.

GetClassical @ India House, supported by Masterpiece Caterers, unites great artists and their fans around the grand piano.

This time around, stellar young pianist/visual artist Roman Rabinovich, winner of the 2008 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition, will enthrall new audiences with his pianism and an exhibition of his artwork. Recently endorsed by revered pianist Andras Schiff as one of three young leading artists of his generation, Roman also appears as “tortured artist’s psyche and the city,” in a short film made by his musical peer, cellist Nick Canellakis, and set to music composed by pianist/composer Michael Brown, winner of the 2010 Concert Artist Elmaleh Competition and 2012 William Petschek Piano Award. Like Brown, Canellakis is a member of Chamber Music Society at Lincoln Center’s young performers series. Both will perform in shared performances with Roman Rabinovich.
